Yes, I could relate to this... but I do not agree with "for happiness is enhanced by others" ... then again it depends on the who is "others", right? It could be friends from here - in this space site. I agree with "but does not depend on others." I could think of a number of people, who my and my daughter's happiness (or the way of life) does not depend on them although THEY believe it does.
