15 years is a good life - you know he's bragging to all the other kitties about what a great "furless" mom he had!

This "living" thing is not easy. Especially for those with heart. So very sorry for the loss of your close friend. Perhaps you need a new friend soon. Would Inky want that for you?

To all my dearest friends here!
Was terrible yesterday when I was at work. I went just because there weren't official hours. But I couldn't stay strong all the time. I had moments when I was crying. Than one co-worker did something special. She was in Brasil and she has some knowledge about alternative medicine. So, she gave shell to my heart. I don't know if she was doing something with her hands on my back or maybe just having some thoughts ... Pain in my heart was increasing and I was crying so strong and loud as never in my life before. When I couldn't bear the pain any more I said her to stop. Was quite strange experience but I think it helped me very much.
So, don't worry too much about me. I'll be all-right.

Arrr Tanja... My heartfelt thoughts are with you dear friend... I had to have my dear cats put to sleep one was 21yrs and the other was 14... Its very hard.. But their spirits do live on, and I have seen and felt both of mine on several occassions since their passing.. My prayers are with you.. sending a Big Hug xxxx

Oh, Tanya, sweet friend of mine, I have not been around for many, many months but saw the beginning of your post on my Space update page. I have to tell you, I broke into tears for you. I have been there many times and each time is no easier; I know your heart is broken and wish I could find a way to help with your healing. I believe that we are all reunited with our beloved pets and that this separation is only temporary. Below, I am pasting something I found years ago and hope it will help you, too. Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

We've lost pets as well and there is not doubt, it is very painful. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

So sad to lose a beloved pet. They give love unconditionally. You'll see him again when you pass through the pearly gates and he comes to rub against you leg.
